Real transformation starts with your people

The reality of leading business transformation can often be daunting and fraught with conflict. A recent study1 found that leaders’ emotional intelligence is crucial in effectively executing strategy. Keeping leaders, and those led, committed and bought in to the transformation is vital. Indeed, complex transformations are five times more likely to be successful when senior leaders role model the behaviour changes they’re asking employees to make.2

Gate One believes that helping individuals and teams work through ambiguity and strengthen capability is one of the key levers to ensure successful organisational change.

We help individuals and teams reach their potential to successfully navigate organisational transformation. After a rapid diagnostic of your culture, dynamics and progress, we’ll create a bespoke development programme to harness the strengths and improve any challenging areas. Through executive coaching, training and team workshops or events, we focus on developing the three core elements of the Gate One ‘Transformation leadership academy’. These elements are: managing self, managing others and managing the change.

Managing self

Find and understand your authentic and individual leadership style to build self-awareness, resilience, humility. Ultimately improving effectiveness in managing your own behaviours and performance mindset.

Managing others

Equip those around you with the skills and tools needed to help your people succeed through change. We help organisations identify key behaviours to foster, address team conflict and build trust to create more productive ways of working.

Managing the change

Co-create the transformation journey, articulate a shared ambition and role model to build durable momentum. We understand that discipline and new approaches are necessary to truly move an organisation to a future state.

Gate One offers a coaching programme that we run for clients and internally, which gained credit by being a finalist in the CIPD People Management Awards 2019. It is widely recognised that having a coaching and feedback culture can improve individual and organisational performance – and make a company a great place to work.

Our coaching programme allows access to a pool of accredited coaches to support you and/or your team to reach their desired goals and provide designated time to reflect and focus on personal and professional development. Our coaches are experienced in one-to-one coaching, group coaching, as well as a blended coaching/mentoring approach.

We deliver peer-to-peer coaching training, upskilling your people with core coaching capabilities to enable more cooperative, considerate and fruitful conversations. This programme has also seen improvements in team communications and relationships as empathy and grit are built across the team, as well as improvements to organisational productivity with better individual and team performance and increased knowledge sharing.

“Gate One were true partners who never stopped listening – they brought energy and challenge to the project, and we can now better equip teams to lead change across our organisation.”
