THE GATE ONE INCUBATOR

THERE’S NO BETTER WAY TO LIVE OUR ENTREPRENEURIAL VALUES THAN BEING REAL LIFE ENTREPRENEURS

Our consultants launch their own start-ups through the Gate One Incubator. Few other consultancies put their money where their mouth is and really make this happen. Launching a start-up tests creativity, leadership and grit like nothing else – these qualities in our consultants set us apart from our competitors and directly benefit your business.

HOW WE DO IT

We invest in an experienced Entrepreneur In Residence who has first hand experience of launching and funding start-ups. We host all day themed accelerator days in cool locations to fast-track our new business concepts.  We use divergent and convergent thinking to evolve and stress test our business models, then rapidly guide them towards funding.

So far we’ve funded six start-ups in this way, and three have gone to complete seed funding rounds.

Pinga is the UK’s first crowdsourced on demand delivery service and launched in October 2017

Oshun is an acai berry bowl and smoothie business and launched in 2015

WE ARE LIGHT ON PROCESS AND BIG ON FRESH THINKING

It all culminates in ‘gate one’ (see what we did there), when our new entrepreneur pitches to the whole firm for seed investment. The final ingredients are great office space in a London co-working space full of entrepreneurs and creatives, additional funding, advisory from one of our experienced directors and access to the Gate One network. All of which makes a great environment for the new business to grow.
