“It’s a fantastically dynamic and engaging workplace and very exciting to be a part of. There is a great energy for making ourselves the best we possibly can. This is the only company I’ve ever worked in where it feels like we have licence ‘to make a dent in the universe’. Creativity is encouraged. Taking risk is rewarded. Having fun is important.”
Simon Dennis, director of people and talent at Gate One, said: “As a company, we are committed to creating a workplace that is positive, inclusive and, ultimately, a fun place to be. We set ourselves high standards and work hard to achieve them, so it’s particularly satisfying that our employees feel so positively about their development opportunities. It is they who make our company what it is, and we could not have achieved this without them.”
This accolade follows the 3-star accreditation awarded to Gate One by Best Companies late last year. The accreditation is the highest standard of workplace engagement and represents organisations that truly excel when it comes to how engaged their people are at work and how they feel about their employer.
“I don’t believe I have ever been as welcomed into a team as I was when I joined. New joiners are seen as culturally additive rather than needing to fit in with the past iteration of the company.”
