Nominations in two categories

Young Consultant of the Year

Gate One is very proud to announce that we have been nominated as finalists for two categories in this year’s MCA Awards. We believe that at the heart of everything we do, all our consultants are motivated to deliver ‘change that counts’ for our clients, our people, and our industry as a whole. That’s why this year we are especially pleased to have been recognised for our strategic work as well as for the value our junior consultants bring, demonstrating that our values permeate throughout Gate One, regardless of grade or age.

Strategy – finalist

We were privileged enough to work closely with UCAS, a charity organisation responsible for guiding young people through university admissions in the UK. James Cooper led a team working closely and interactively with the CEO and senior management team to identify the core purpose of the organisation, resulting in a refreshed strategy and galvanised teams who had been given the direction required to carry out meaningful change.

Young Consultant of the year – finalist

Gate One is delighted that one of our Junior Consultants, Sarah Hardy, has been nominated as a finalist for the Young Consultant of the Year award. Her people-centric approach emphasises the importance of emotional intelligence, this has been recognised by both clients and colleagues and is a true testament to our core values, demonstrating empathy and humility as well as grit and candour.

Tim Phillips, managing partner at Gate One says “we are delighted to be nominated as finalists of the MCA Awards for the second year in a row. I feel our two nominated categories reflect our commitment to working side by side with clients on their most difficult and strategic challenges and to developing the next generation of consulting talent.”

The Management Consultancies Association (MCA) is the body that represents management consultancy firms in the UK, to which Gate One became a member in 2017. The MCA Awards, which are now in their 22nd year, are the benchmark for quality within the consulting industry. They celebrate how clients and consultants work together to achieve the best results.

Winners will be announced at the MCA awards ceremony and dinner on Thursday 28 March.
