We are delighted to announce that Gate One has appointed Ben Tye as Client Director to drive further growth in our consumer business, retail and manufacturing sectors.
During his twenty-year career in the consulting and technology industries, Ben has held senior leadership roles at SAIC, PIPC and Cognizant Business Consulting. His focus has been to drive growth at each by launching new solutions and developing talent to build UK and international practices.
Ben has a track record creating value for several of the UK’s largest companies including Arcadia, GE, Rolls Royce & BP by transforming their business operations, products and services. He has led large scale change programmes, driven digital innovation and enabled lasting culture change.
Ben’s appointment marks our third senior hire and promotion in 12 months. Nick Kennell, Client Director joined in May 2017 and James Cooper was promoted to the same position this January.
Ben Tye said, “I’m delighted to be joining a nimble, customer focused firm with great capabilities and people that truly focuses on what clients need and want – this hugely appealed to me.”
“The retail, consumer business and manufacturing sectors are undergoing a period of significant change and volatility, driven by increased consumer expectations, technology, sustainability and intense competition for customer proximity and wallet share. We’re here to help our clients successfully navigate these turbulent times by co-creating agile operating models and executing change programmes to create value for customers and shareholders.”
Tim Phillips, Managing Partner said, “Welcoming Ben to the team represents a new stage in the evolution of our firm. We’re delighted to be able to attract Ben’s level of talent. His experience in the consumer business, retail and manufacturing sectors is extensive. I’m looking forward to working with him to support our clients and grow our business.”
