We are delighted to announce that Gate One is a finalist for the Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards 2019, in the Boosting Social Impact Award category.

The Boosting Social Impact Award is for businesses that are multiplying their impact in Greater London by enabling others to succeed. It celebrates organisations that support small businesses, social enterprises and charities to start up, grow or become more sustainable and impactful, in turn creating a vibrant ecosystem that benefits people and communities across the capital.

Our nomination is for our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) work with local London South Bank charity, Coin Street. They are working to turn South Bank into an inspirational neighbourhood, where the community comes together to create a great place to work, live and visit.

Having been founded in South Bank, Gate One has been working with Coin Street for several years, providing fundraising support and direct coaching and training to the young people of South Bank.

Tim Phillips, Managing Partner at Gate One says, “Gate One is proud to be a finalist for the Boosting Social Impact category for the Lord Mayor’s Dragon awards for our work with Coin Street Community Builders. We’re delighted to be recognised for our contribution to the local community through the direct support and mentoring of young entrepreneurs and raising the funds needed for Coin Street to continue their great work.”

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony and dinner on Tuesday 24th September.
